Hilarious Sep 24, 2008 If you love Dane Cook, you'll love this! Sound quality was not bothersome by any means, it's recorded live, what do you expect? It still sounds great, and he's always funny!

This is funny as hell Jun 15, 2008 I love Dane cook and he doesn't disappoint in his new CD. I gave this as a gift and the girl let me listen to it with her. We laughed till we cried.

War Flute! Yes! So Funny! Jun 01, 2008 This whole cd is hilarious. Who doesnt like Dane Cook?
Always critics trying to say he steals jokes, really? He sold out the entire Madison Square Garden, twice!
This cd is awesome and it comes with the dvd of the show.
Dane knows people, he tells stories that everyone can relate to, its very, very funny stuff!
Enjoy!

the man! Mar 19, 2008 Dane Cook is the man. He talks about things we all go through and puts a comedic spin on life. I highly recommend this video.
Not as good as I'd hoped Mar 12, 2008 I've been a pretty hardcore Dane Cook fan since his breakout comedy routines only a few scant years ago. "Harmful if Swallowed" was spectacular. "Retaliation", was incredible. "Viscious Circle" was...okay. "Tourgasm" was awesome. Now we've got "Rough around the Edges". Unfortunately the name says it all.
This latest installment in Dane's standup is "Rough Around the Edges", and not nearly as good as it looks. Sure Dane can pack Madison Square Garden with fans but that doesn't do you any good if nobody can hear what you're saying. From the moment I put this CD on all I could hear was nothing but fans screaming where the mic was, which totally detracted from the show. I had to turn my volume down to bring the shrieking fans to an acceptable volume limit. Even then you could barely hear Dane through it all. The audio quality is just terrible. I mean, it's "really" bad.
Dane's material isn't all that bad, he does use a few of his older routines from some of his other CD's and such. It's good to sometimes "reference" a few of your better known jokes, but it's another thing entirely to repeat the same joke again, and again, and again.
MY VOTE: Don't buy this.
Plain and simple, this isn't a CD, it's a drink coaster. Poor audio quality and a too quiet Dane, unfortunately, dooms this album.
