Best One Yet! Mar 13, 2009 My 3-year old son just loves Ralph, and this CD is by far his favorite. He wants to listen to the Rhyming Circus song over and over and over, singing along all the time. I would also have to say the musical quality of the CD is outstanding. If your child likes music, he/she will love this CD!
Family Rock! Mar 03, 2009 Ralph channels "Sgt. Pepper", "Johnny Cash", as well as his own style of indie rock to create a rhyming circus you can enjoy as a family, (or even by yourself at work).
This isn't "kid's music", like I knew it way back when. This is music for everyone with lyrics that will delight kids of all ages.
Well done Mr. Covert!
Elva's Mom Mar 01, 2009 My two year old daughter really likes this CD. We listen to it in the car. She first saw the music "video" for Edward the Elephant as a commercial during a disney cartoon. It was on the DVR and we had to play it over and over. Then I found the CD. She knows practically all the words and there are other songs on the CD she likes too.

Not As Great As His Others Jan 06, 2009 My boys and I love "Happy Lemons" and the one with the Coffee Song on it, but this one we've never been able to get into as much.

An uninspired disappointment - music by committee Oct 25, 2008 Let me say up front that I absolutely LOVE Ralph's earlier work - ANY of the CDs before this one were some of the best Children's music out there. So I write this review as a fan.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the first Ralph's World CD since he signed up with Disney. It seems, sadly, to have compromised his creativity. Many songs here sound like songs I've heard before, and very few of them bear repeated listenings. And I sometimes hear what sounds like the aftermath of some Disney corporate meeting, rather than a heartfelt childhood memory.
I used to tell people Ralph's World music is kid's music you can hear over and over again and not go crazy - it was that catchy. And not just hook-laden, sometimes the lyrics were very sweet or heart-rending. There is nothing with that sort of emotional depth here. And there just aren''t the delicious musical hooks I used to hear.
So for your hard-earned cash, by all means buy one of Ralph's earlier CDs - "At the Bottom of the Sea" is best, "Green Gorilla, Monster & Me," not so much, but all the others are GREAT).
