BEST KEPT SECRET IN LATIN MUSIC Nov 26, 2006
RAN INTO THIS ARTIST GIAN MARCO BY ACCIDENT. SAW HIM ON A TALK SHOW AND HE SEEMED VERY SMART,WITH A GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. DECIDED TO GO ONLINE AND LISTEN TO HIS WORK. I WAS SURPRISED. I HAVE YET TO FIND A BAD SONG ON EITHER OF HIS CDS. HE WRITES THE LYRICS AND THE MUSIC, EXTREMELY TALENTED. HE IS FOR SURE, THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN LATING MUSIC TODAY.

A Latin Grammy Award Winner Dec 20, 2005
This new production from Gian Marco Zignago is not only marking his return to his real roots but it has also deserved him a Latin Grammy Award in the category of Best Singer-Songwriter Album.
Gian Marco who is perhaps now in a mature stage of his career has become one of the most important songwriters in the Latin American region, and with no doubt one of the best Peruvian songwriters ever.
His music is very unconventional and through the years he has managed to create his own style which is rarely mistaken: smooth, meaningful and with a touch of his homeland. No wonder where he got all his talent; it runs in his family.

NEW, FRESH, GOOD, AND ROMANTIC... Jun 03, 2005
For those who knew gianmarco since his first hit "cancion de amor" know the quality of this latin singer. Con su ultimo album "resucitar" regreso a la balada pop y se saco un poco de encima esos ritmos que adquirio en su disco anterior "a tiempo" donde se notaba que Estefan metio la mano para poner esos ritmos medios movidos y caribenos como en "se me olvido" y "te mentiria", que no eran malos pero creo que mas disfrutamos a ginmarco con sus baladas. however, i think this is a pretty good cd, with really well done songs like: resucitar,sin querer, si me vuelvo a enamorar, en cada recuerdo .... but my two favorites are "Lejos de ti"(medio huaynito) and " gota de lluvia"......Good cd, good voice, good lyrics, and great songs!

Deserves More Than 5 Stars Jan 20, 2005
I might be somewhat biased since my family is from GianMarco's native Peru. However, I can honestly say GianMarco is one of the best international singers out there. From the elaborate and emotional depth of his lyrics to the passion and beauty of his vocals, GianMarco is an amazing talent. Even my friends who do not speak Spanish love his music. I hope he is able to maintain the quality of his Spanish music if and when he decides to crossover and make an English album to become a hit like Shakira.

GM has turned 180 degrees in his style without losing qualit Aug 16, 2004
People who are accustomed to listen to ballads and latin music of Gianmarco such as "Se Me Olvidó", "Te Mentiría", "Lamento", etc; will be amazed with this new style. I was shocked when I listened to this cd the first time but when I heard it twice, three times and over and over again, I noticed that the risk that took Gianmanco will be worth because there are well-written and melodic songs such as "Lejos de Tí", "Despues de Mi", "Si me vuelvo a Enamorar", "Soy", "Sin Querer", "Resucitar" and "En cada recuerdo".
I suggest this CD to who do not follow the trends of the popular singers who do not have quality but fame.
