SISTER HAZEL'S DONE IT AGAIN! Nov 20, 2009
SISTER HAZEL DOES IT AGAIN(&AGAIN) WITH THIS NEW CD. RELEASE IS A GREAT LISTENING IN YOUR CAR ALBUM. LOVE THE LYRICS ESPECIALLY SEE ME BEAUTIFUL, ONE LIFE(MY FAVE)AND I BELIEVE IN YOU. NO DISAPPOINTMENTS WITH THIS CD AT ALL. LOVE THIS BAND FOR MANY YEARS AND THEY JUST GET BETTER AND BETTER, EVEN BETTER LIVE!!

This is another great album from Sister Hazel! Although at first listen I wasn't sure about it; it took a few times around in my cd player for me to come around on it and now I can say that I love it! Not as good as Chasing Daylight, which for me is my favorite, but a great product nonetheless.

Sister Hazel is the best bank ever!~ They have the large cult following that they have for a reason, THEY ROCK! A band, who for several years and thousands of concerts, sings from the heart and the soul with every song having deep meaning. Every album should have gone Double Platinum..........Give them a shot, you won't be sorry!

Sister Hazel has a huge cult following. That's no surprise considering they have been fairly consistent with everything they have done. They are sort of a cross between Rodney Crowell, meets Tom Petty, meets Radney Foster, meets Firefall, meets ARS. They have a lot of influences but manage to still have their own sound. Most of their work leans toward a country rock flavor. Release sort of puts a glossier shine on things. It's a little more radio friendly yet manages to have an identity that keeps things fresh. This is not great music but it is enjoyable and much better lyrically than most modern day music.
If you lean towards a country flavor with a little kick then Release will fit that bill. Check out some of their earlier releases as well. This is a band that, up to now, has stood the test of time.
Great new cd from Sister Hazel Sep 22, 2009
The new Sister Hazel albums "Release" is a great piece of work i have to say. I really liked the previous "Absolutley" and "BAM vol.1" but this cd has another dimension to it. There are a couple of songs that i belive will be classic sister hazel songs for sure. Since i live in Sweden sister hazel is not that known, but im certain that if this cd got some airtime it would get really, really popular. Great buy, recommend it for both old sister hazel fans as to the ones that are not to familiar with the band.
