Decent Compilation Of Contemporary Reggae Music Apr 25, 2009 As with any collection of various artists, the quality varies from song to song. My personal favorites included "Doh" by Serani and "Wine Gal" by Beenie Man. Also Collie Buddz's "Blind To You" has a catchy chorus I couldn't get out of my head.
Of course, this is contemporary reggae that sometimes sounds more influenced by rap, R&B and techno than Peter Tosh. So if you want roots reggae better to seek out some Bob Marley or Burning Spear than this album. But fans of Jamaican dance hall and other current Caribbean sounds will likely enjoy it.

Can't stop this danceholla Dec 28, 2008 Found this [Enur beat] on the radio one day and couldn't get the full data (you know how that is...) but got lucky later on. Also, that beauty gold girl on 'Calabria 2008' reminds me of a nubian-latina Raiderette I once knew; oh yeah, and this beat is is thumprollin'.

Reggae Gold 2008 Dec 17, 2008 One of the best in the Reggae Gold series. Good selection of fresh, vibey reggae beats, lots of tracks to enjoy. If you like reggae music and are looking for music that does not sound 20 years old you this is THE ONE.

Reggae Gold 2008 Aug 24, 2008 It's pretty good. However, there were better songs that could have been chosen from 2008.
