Description:

His matchless songwriting skills shine through out the album, showing a rare range and compassion found in younger artists. Mid-tempo tracks like the cathartic "Going Through A Lot" leads listeners deeper into his musical psyche while the autobiographical "Fly Away" shares accounts of the relationship he has with his father. "You Not the Same" finds T-Pain pleading for a love interest to revisit the personality that he grew to appreciate. He also reveals truthful, and almost embarrassing, feelings for exotic dancers on the bravely stated "I'm In Love With A Stripper."

While his moniker, short for "Tallahassee Pain," was created to represent the struggle of growing up in the oft overlooked Florida state capitol, the self-admitted fast driver also has fun with his music. His energetic stage show is unrivaled, featuring the Rappa Ternt Sanga demonstrating his other passion, dancing.

Raised to be unapologetic and independent T-Pain is poised to be a threat to status quo of R&B music. Expect the music book with the rough looking cover to be on the bestsellers list for years to come.

5Better than I thought.  Jul 21, 2008
It was actually a good album. But I kinda love the 90's style dirty love songs.

T-PAIN'S DEBUT ALBUM IS THE BEST ALBUM IN THE WORLD. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT THEN GO GET IT.

3Surprisingly nice voice  Dec 28, 2007
This is a nice catchy hip hop album. T-Pain actually has a nice singing voice...the synthesizers are just meant for a cool effect. Of course "N Luv Wit A Stripper" was the song of 2005-2006. T-Pain has that unique ability to sing about almost anything and make a hit out of it.

2T-Pain- Rappa Ternt Sanga  Jun 14, 2007
T-Pain is going to only last 3 maybe 4 albums at most. Because his style gets old very fast. The only R&B singer that was good at always using the voicebox was Roger, and now that he died the voice box should be in his coffin with him because he was the only one who could do it right. T-Pain does not have a good voice. If he did have a good voice on top of the voice box effect that would be cool because then there would be variety to his music. But he does not have a good voice, so he lacks in ALOT of places on this album. And on top of that he cant write a song for his life. And all he knows how to sing about is sex. The funny thing about that is i dont see him getting alot of action and thats all he sings about! I mean the "I'm Sprung" is alright, but after hearing him complain about how stupid in love he is, that to gets annoying. "Im N Luv Wit A Stripper" i a good track but that song to, is only good in small doses. And that is what breaks this album. Is that most of the songs are only good occasionaly. The only song that i can listen to whenever is the Styles P assisted "Im Hi" and that is because the music is so tripy and because Styles P is good on that track. Other than those very few select tracks this album is not very good at all. T-Pain cant sing, and i think that people will start to get sick of him after three maybe four albums at best. Avoid this album, dont let "Im Sprung" and "Im N Luv Wit A Stripper" fool you.

5Only Haters Dis This Album  Jun 09, 2007
First off, many people don't even give T-Pain a chance because he uses the Vocoder (voice synthesizer), but these same people are in love with the song "Computer Love" by Roger Troutman (who NEVER sang without the vocoder). T-Pain doesn't use it on all of his songs. Listen songs like "Fly Away" and "Dance Floor." Secondly, T-Pain is a VERY talented artist who play MULTIPLE instruments and makes all of his own music. How many artists today do that? Exactly. U may not like the content of some of his songs, but there's no need in denying the fact that he's talented. Musically, nobody in the industry can touch him right now. Except R. Kelly. I'm not an R. Kelly fan, but I don't deny his talent. No need for anybody to deny T-Pain's talent. He's a gifted artist.
