Pathology For The Dummies Nov 21, 2009 This book is a very good book...Every piece of information is well explained, excellent tables, great color plates, bridges to bioch., pharm, immun.,...etc However, if you are an "A" student who just finished his pathology class and has all the information fresh in mind and need just bullets to review, I do not think you would benifit from this book since it is too detailed, high yield yes, but detailed high yield..If you are a foreign medical garduate who has been out of school for while, then this is the best source for you!!
Excellent concise guide to pathology Nov 20, 2009 This is a great book that will definitely be great to review for USMLE Step 1. There are nice color images that illustrate diseases and the main important points are noted on the side of the text. The guide is in outline-format and has plenty of tables too.

Amazing review for USMLE step 1 Nov 14, 2009 This book is very detailed and organized , it deals with all the basic information required to know on the USMLE step 1 . I attended the Kaplan course pathology lectures with Dr.Barone . He pointed out all the high yeild points and 90% of what he said or reviewed is in this book in even more organized detail .
I highly encourage everybody to review it before entering the USMLE step 1 exam.
Great Book Nov 09, 2009 Bought the 3rd edition at the recommendation of classmates, and it definately helps. Great to-the-point review of essential topics. If you have the old lectures its a little hard to follow along, but you get the hang of it. Definately worth the price.

Fills in all the important pathology Oct 25, 2009 A review book without leaving out the important details. I can't say enough about this book. It systematically reviews pathology, including the etiology, pathophysio, clinical, and lab finding. Very through, yet not overwhelming.
