 Fills in all the important pathology Oct 25, 2009
A review book without leaving out the important details. I can't say enough about this book. It systematically reviews pathology, including the etiology, pathophysio, clinical, and lab finding. Very through, yet not overwhelming.

Goljan's 3rd edition has lots of pictures, tables and site notes that make it really easy to read, everything is high yield. Also helps to integrate all basic subjects. It has 603 pags, but it's time well spend.

i dont understand why some students are complaining about this book, it was the best pathology review i studied for my step1, i will really recommend this book to students who are especially FMG's.

This is a great book. It is helpful for Pathology class and for Step 1. The only problem is that the Student Consult website doesnt have what the book promises it does. The book says that SC contains over 400 questions but as of today (9/22), none of them are on the site. I tried contacting student consult twice and Dr. Goljan to ask about this but no one got back to me.
It is still a great book and I recommend it for anyone in medical school, but until SC puts up the promised 400+ problems, it gets four stars from me.

Very fast shipping with great customer service and to top it off got a great price! HIghly recommended to study for USMLE step 1. Goes with Goljan audio lectures for pathology!
