A Very Nice Compilation of Cyndi's Songs in Green Packaging... Jun 13, 2009 The quality of this collection is excellent; the packaging is simple and neat.... I'd like to see more of these Playlists...
Girls Just Wanna Go Green... Apr 28, 2009 Thankfully record companies are wising up to the spending habits of the new generation. Many companies are offering "budget" releases of some of their back catalog artists in cheap, eco-friendly packaging. As some of us still like to buy the CD!
Cyndi Lauper's "Playlist: The Very Best of Cyndi Lauper" is her most comphrehensive "greatest hits" thus far. Containing tracks from all stages of her major-label career, this collection definately serves up some of Lauper's best. The sound quality is decent, with some of the other songs sounding better than they've ever sounded before! The only glaring omission from this set, Lauper's amazing song "Shine".
In the end "Playlist" is a wonderful collection for those you might want to experience the artistry of one of the most underappreciated artists of her time.

Not just ANOTHER Cyndi Lauper hits album. Apr 08, 2009 I am a moderate Cyndi Lauper fan, and I have waited a long time for one CD that includes all her hits. I usually turn my nose up at CDs like this one that showcase only some of the hits along with lesser-known material; however I have to say that on this CD: It works. One-hundred-percent, it works.
This CD really showcases the breadth of Cyndi Lauper the artist. I'd recommend this CD to anyone who didn't absolutely hate Cyndi Lauper. And does anyone? Oh, and all the recordings here sound terrific. Only gripe: The version of "She Bop" is not the version form the radio; it's the one from the album. *sigh*
