Nice accessory for your ps3 Dec 01, 2008
Having a ps3 cam is a good addition...although not too much to do with it. if you go to the playstation store, you can buy for around 2 dollars a fish tank that interacts with your movements from the cam itself. its pretty nice. also little big planet does have usage for the cam so its not too bad..but not too much to do with it.

Bought the camera to use with LBP, it's merely ok, not much to do with it since PS3's chatting system is so horrible. I really wish there was more you could do with this camera, alas even with bright lights the LBP pictures you can take aren't exactly the greatest. The price I got it for was good though (on sale here at Amazon for $23)

We got this mainly for LittleBigPlanet so we could put pictures of ourself in the game, and make monsters and stuff. It's definately a cool accessory to have. Not needed, but if you're into it, it's cool. You can make movies, edit them, change different features of the movies. There's free software you can download from the PSN also. Go ahead, get it. What the heck, right?

Not many games take advantage of the cam but it's great to use as a webcam on your PC if you find the drivers.

I got the Playstation Eye when I got Little Big Planet and I haven't regretted it. The camera gives clear video and audio when in use with the PS3 and when paired with EyeCreate it can be really fun. Also, if you can find AlexP's driver for the PC, it is a very functional webcam as well.
The only downside is since it is a camera, there is no noise cancellation, so when using it to play games, it can be pretty hard to get a clear message accross.
