Solid Release! Jul 20, 2009 I purchased this album a while back and I must say that even now, many months later, I still return to THIS album to be reminded one more time that we serve a Holy, righteous, and merciful God. Each song that Phil delivers on this album is sincere and with a heart towards worship and lifting up our Saviour. Take the time right now to purchase it, you will not be disappointed.
Phil Wickham May 31, 2009 I also really liked this cd. Probably not as much as Cannons & not as many songs but there were several I Did REALLY like. And again I LOVE this artist. He deffinatly has a Heart after the Lord you can tell in his voice & words how much he loves Jesus. . I also really like his style of music & his voice.
Great! Apr 03, 2009 The CDs were in exactly the condition I was told they would be in. I am very happy with my purchase from this group of people. I would trust to buy from them again.
Love Phil's voice Feb 25, 2009 I just love Phil's voice. It is so soothing. The songs on this CD are wonderful worship songs. It is a romantic CD. I bought it for one song and love the rest too.

Even better than I expected! Mar 03, 2008 I purchased and LOVED Phil Wickham's CD "Cannons" and it is one of my favorite CD's. I love his style, his voice, his passionate lyrics. He personifies great praise music and does it with a U2-Keene feel. With that said, I was a little hesitant to buy this CD...I figured I would be a little disappointed with his debut album after loving his sophomore album so much. In my mind, I figured it just can't be a good. But I was wrong. It is just as good.
I was hooked right away with the opening song "Grace." This is a powerful song and Phil's vibrato is perfection. This song is just as strong as any on "Cannons." But it doesn't end there. I loved "Messiah," "Mystery," especially "Divine Romance," and "I Will Wait For You There," which is a powerful acoustic song (with some strings). And "Holy, Holy, Holy" is also quite powerful.
This CD has a little less British rock feel as "Cannons," where that influence is more prevalent, but you can still hear it in his voice. He has an amazing gift and he is a major talent in a watered-down Praise and Worship industry. His lyrics, though simple at times, are still poetic and truly reflect a passion and desire to follow and praise God. We need more like him. If you don't have this CD or "Cannons," get immediately!
