which is best the hand book or the text? Oct 18, 2009 I just received the pharmacotherapy handbook and haven't started yet,but i would like to know what's the difference between the hand book and the text.
Pharmacotherapy Oct 06, 2009 Very easy to read, yet detailed book of pharmacotherapy. This book would be excellent for nurses, NPs, physician assistants, or medical students. I was very pleased with my investment in this book.
Great item!!!. Sep 18, 2009 This was a great item in great condition, but I did not receive it as quickly as the add made it sound.
OK Aug 21, 2009 The book was in good shape and shipped in great time. The only problem I have found is that there are 20 pages MISSING from the index! This really angers me because there was no indication of this in the description.
Great Pharm Text Aug 13, 2009 Pharmacotherapy is the very best pharmacology text I've ever seen. The drugs are up to date as possible, the pathophysiology review is exceptionally helpful and the resources and studies addressed are excellent. While I'm a FNP student, not a pharmacist, I plan to continue to purchase updated versions for my practice in the future. It is an invaluable resource across health care disciplines. Special populations (ethnic groups, women, elderly, etc) are singled out at the end of each chapter while the discussion of comorbid conditions is thoughtful and realistic. Each chapter begins with key points that are also notated again within the chapter. The tables included help solidify overall characteristics of classes and compare individual drugs. Some providers may be more accustomed to trade names and find this difficult since they are generally not included except for some of the newest drugs.
