It's of no surprise to Vicente Fernandez' millions of fans that his he has reached the pinnacle of his artistic excellence, for quite some time now. I bought this because of the title song and was not disappointed. It should be a classic. The other songs are good, too. You can't go wrong with Vicente.

An even better album of songs than Chente's Más Con El Número Uno which I like a lot, the strength and passion of Vicente's voice and heart continue to penetrate the soul. The songs were written by Joan Sebastian which also speaks to the quality of this great album. One of Chente's best!
Better than I expected Apr 09, 2009
I searched all over to find this cd but could only find the DVD. So was happy to find it on Amazon. It arrived quickly and this album is my all time favorite. I love most of Vicente Fernandez' music but Para Siempe is beautiful. Love that spanish guitar.
It's amazing that he still has such a strong and beautiful voice at his age. Love him.

Para Siempre is my favorite V.F. cd. My Spanish is really rusty, so I don't exactly understand the lyrics, but his voice is universal, his music flawless, arrangements and instrumentals superb. Vicente, te amo, from a delighted old lady. P.S. My favorite song on this album is "La Derrota", compellingly beautiful.
