4Better Singing...  Aug 09, 2007
This song is alot better than those other singles released from the "How to Save a Life" album. This song is more catchy, and the singing, although it draggs a bit at times, is better than the others. The single "How to Save a Life" is simply awful, mainly because of the singing. "Over My Head (Cable Car)" is the only decent single to come from this album. This is the only singel I listen to. All in all not a bad song.

5Let me ride!   Sep 04, 2006
Every once in a while there is a song that just hits right. It does not matter what it is about or whatever, hearing it is just a great experience. This is one of them. What is it? The way the words are sung, The melody? The hook? The bet? Perhaps all these things work in concert with each other for that perfect song.

This is the first single from (whaddayah know) Denver, Colorado's own The Fray, from their debut Epic release called "How To Save A Life". The title song runs second to "Cable Car".

If you enjoy Coldplay - sorry but I am another one comparing them to Coldplay - you may enjoy this for it's resemblance to them. Whether it is good and/or bad, perhaps both, it seems that bands tend to imitate others to the point that several bands are all too easily compared to the initial band's signature sound. Although I do enjoy Coldplay, I have yet to hear this type of song from them, but then again those "perfect" songs come few and far between.
