" Only a Woman With Money For Me " Nov 01, 2007 One of the most notorious, most successful thief in modern music history.
But give this singing charlatan & his handlers credit! They have made off with more dinero than even most banks could count.
Surely, most of the mega-millions that he has lured into his Cayman accounts has been female money; but I digress, maybe there are guys out there who are so accustomed to forgery, that the real thing " is a thing of the past."
I just saw a picture of this vandalizer & was wondering who he's ripped-off lately. Does he have his eyes set, on a say, Justin Timberlake, the late Robert Goulet, a Brad Pitt " Retrospective, " or maybe a duet with Barry Manilow singing, " Mandy?"
Women, like everyone else, have to grow-up & if you're from the 60's then there is No hope for you.
But if you are content with this very poor facsimile, then you get everything you deserve.

4 years later. Sep 29, 2006 "Only A Woman Like You" is a truly beautiful album. Every song on here is very smooth, and the whole thing flows through very nicely. Minus the ear-splitting vocals Bolton is famous for, Michael shows that he has learned how to be smooth, and instead of his voice being strained, it's REstrained. Great, great album.

A Fair Effort Nov 18, 2005 I had no previous knowledge of Michael Bolton. I had heard his name but had no familiarity with his works and this was my first experience with some of his music. It was not a bad experience but neither was it was I was expecting.
I had some vague notion of a performer in the tradition of Humperdinck or Tom Jones and, in a more modern sort of way, I suppose he is but he is different too. He is more modern with instrumentation and rhythms more in tune with modern music than the big band style arrangements of the past. His voice does not seem as suited to be a solo instrument but carries his tune well enough though it is a bit harsh (perhaps too harsh a term) to my ears.
The songs are mostly loves songs. They are nice and pleasant to listen to but I found nothing utterly memorable.
I will give him another try sometime but fell no urgency in it.

Mainstream!?so what!!! Mar 25, 2005 I always found it strange that when you say in the U.S you like Michael Bolton people react like you're retareded.
I'm from The Netherlands and although he's not as famous here as in the rest of the world, his music is very much respected, not only by music buyers but also by Ducth recording artists, for example RENE FROGER wich is one of Hollands best selling singers recorded two Bolton tracks on his 1990 album "Midnight Man" the songs were "I almost believed you" and specialy written by Bolton for Froger "Am i dreaming" . But i now understand why some people in the states react this way about Bolton, its the same here in Holland with Rene Froger, they are very main stream and sold a lot of records and sell out major concerts,we'll i don't mind because i'm as mainstream as every other normal Dutch,American,German or where ever guy,i'm a security guard,i watch Stallone movies,i drive a Nissan, and i like prime time sitcoms and i also like to play Michael Bolton cd's on my Sony cd player in my average appartment.
And all i want to say to those who find that's boring is:
"SO I'M MAINSTREAM! SO WHAT!!!!
Ps:Great cd Michael!

What a shock! Mar 13, 2005 Not a Michael Bolton fan, but a real fan of this album. I heard "Dance With Me" on a station and was like "that's a great Latin tune" The tune stuck with me and I found out later it was Bolton from this CD. I was shocked to know it was a Bolton song. I'm happy to say that Dance With Me isn't the only great tune on this CD - "I Want to Hear You Say It" is also very strong. A lot of people used to ridicule Bolton's music as too pop, but this CD is really mature and easy to listen to and like, even for a non-fan.
