ONE OF THE GREATEST ALBUMS I'VE EVER HEARD!!!!! Nov 20, 2009 I'll admit, I was a little skeptical about buying this album at first......seeing as how I was basing my reason for buying it soly on the hit single "use somebody". I thought it was going to be another album that had 3, maybe 4, alright songs on it. I was way off!!! The first time I put the CD in and pushed play, I was hooked. "Use Somebody" isn't even my favorite song on the album.....it's maybe 5th, maybe! :) I've had if for 4 days now and haven't taken it out of my player once! I just put the album on repeat and let it play over and over. Kings of Leon is now one of my favorite groups! I've now ordered their other albums and can't wait until they come in! I just wish I would have knew about them earlier so I could have been listening to the group longer! Buy the album, you won't regret it!!

The Kings have matured! Mar 11, 2009 The Followill guys have matured into a fine band. Their newest album is not for those who like simplistic straight forward music, this stuff will make you think. The Kings have thankfully left behind their early stuff where they sounded identical to The Strokes, The Hives, The Jets and that other junk.

Bad mastering of a mediocre album Feb 21, 2009 After getting off to a strong start with their first three albums, including the excellent 'Aha Shake Heartbreak' and the more mature 'Because of the Times', Kings of Leon have taken a step backward with this clunker.
To make matters worse, the vinyl edition is mastered too slow, requiring a considerable adjustment to make it play at the correct speed. Total letdown.
