Love this series! Jul 02, 2009 This series keeps getting better and better - can't wait to find out what happens next between Bones & Cat!!!
Very shallow Jun 29, 2009 I actually thought a teenager had written these books because they were so adolescent. Cat is very childish, bordering on unlikeable which isn't a good idea when you want the audience to root for her. The sex is graphic and doesn't add to the story much - and, I have to say the 'bottom sex' not a good idea, this really shows the age of the author cos no woman over 30 pretends that it's fun or turns them on.
Daddy dearest wants to kill her, after reading all the whining, I'm fully on his side. Then we have Tate lusting after her, which gets old really really quickly, but it's dragged on and on - like a child - not attractive. Not a keeper, not a brilliant book. This author will amuse teenagers until they come across better authors eg, Kresley Cole - Superb, every book a keeper. Gena Showalter - very good, JR Ward - very good.
This series is a lot of fun Jun 16, 2009 I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this series. I had it on my wish list for a long time and was dragging my feet; in particular the covers looked cheesy. However, one I started reading, I found myself completely rooting for Bones and Cat. It has great action, romance, and the fantsy manages to feel plausible. I laughed out loud at parts in this novel and its prequel, something I don't do often, especially with a book that also has very satisfactory love scenes.
He's back Jun 15, 2009 I hated the ending of the first book and the beginning of this one. But as soon as he came back, the action picked up and they were both happy again. Loved the character build up and the new characters she added to the story.
Another direct hit! Jun 04, 2009 After making the hardest decision ever, Cat has slowly begun to go on with her life. Her job has kept her busy over the past few years yet her heart is still yearning for her lost love. Getting sucked into a wedding is not her idea of a good time, but it is her best friend after all. A surprise guest has her heart pounding and her head more confused than ever. How long can she fight it, does she even want to anymore?
