4Vol. 14  Jul 18, 2006
Boasting a slur of hits but failing to nail down any real standouts 'Now! 14' falls short of the pack a bit. There are some strong tracks like '(There's Gotta Be) More To Life' by the very talented Stacie Orrico, and even the overplayed 'Where is the Love?' as well as Justin's 'Senorita' but with an overabundance of trash like Ginuwine's horrible 'In Those Jeans' and the overplayed and nausiating 'Suga Suga' by Baby Bash and Frankie J, not to mention Foutains of Wayne and Ataris delivering more and more crap. At least there's Good Charlotte to make up for that.

The rap on this album is a redeeming feature. The ever popular 'Right Thurr' is an album highlight as is offerings by Bow Bow (all grown up) and Murphey Lee. R. Kelly delivers a good if not strange song in itself, but it's easy to get into. Beyonce gives us her debut, the song that launched the most overpublisized and overrated career out there (next to Jessica Simpson) but at least Beyonce can sing.

So there you have it...some up's and some downs but what else do you expect.

4don't buy this : i'd give it 0 stars but i put 4 by accident  Jul 17, 2006
most of the tracks on this CD aren't worth it. i mean, it seems as if the majority of them are rappers talking about how they're such pimps...that's not what i call music. and the lyrics can get pretty vulgar, too.

don't waste your money. there are better now cds out there.
seriously.
