Cohen on vinyl Dec 06, 2009 I'm not reviewing the music because in my opinion everybody should know it already. I'm also net reviewing the medium because everybody know's what an lp is, and anybody who will buy an lp does know how it sounds on his hifi.
So What to put here? The package was good protected, and arrived in good condition in Europe (the Netherlands to be precise)
It was even faster then amazon predicted.

great reissue! (about the LP reissue on Sundazed) Jun 14, 2009 Really nice reissue on Sundazed: quiet, flat, thick vinyl (about 160 gram).
Sound has a little more 'low' than my old version from the 70-ies.
The songs are great, this is my favourite Cohen album: play it loud!
Warm and entertaining album May 29, 2009 As for as Leonard Cohen albums go, this one will most likely not disappoint. The songs seem a bit more put together and produced than his past efforts, but they are pretty creative and entertaining all the same. I'm not very in to Cohen, but I'm sure any Cohen fan that does not yet have this album will be very pleased with it.
Truly amazing work May 09, 2009 Cohen is able to craft such wonderful songs that are just unreveled by anything else. This man is a true visionary and poet.

Pretty Good Mar 16, 2009 I have had Cohens first three albums for several years and enjoy them profusely. The small stories he tells range from desolation, sardonic views of the world, to drunken hysteria. The album title shows that a lot of the songs are about love and this is true. This collection is not the strongest prose of Cohens but there are some very poppy and uplifting songs.
