Awesome CD May 07, 2009 This CD is happy and fun. I really wish the band would play some of this music when they tour. I recommend it for someone who wants to enjoy where teh NKOTB came from. You can't take it too seriously. You just have to rock out to the pop beats.
I dare you to try to make worse Jul 24, 2008 Back in '92 (When they still had a career) my buddy picked this up from the closeout bin for a dollar.
As fans of Germs and Stooges, we were ready for an ironic treat of epic proportions.
It all backfired horribly.
I am not exaggerating or trying to be funny; this thing literally made me sick to my stomach.
My friend was laughing as I begged him to "please shut it off," but I swear, had it gone on a second longer, I would have actually vomited.
I could rattle off a list of superlatives like, "3d Place in a Jr. High School Talent Show"..."Makes Vanilla Ice look like Chuck D...." or "The Street Cred of the Peanuts Gang"...
But I would simply dare you to pick it up.
I lack the vocabulary to describe just how exquisitely awful this release is.
They...try to rap...
"Try..."
My mom made more legitimate raps in our kitchen with the topic of popcorn in hand.
I triple dog dare you to buy this.
CLASSIC! LOVE IT! Apr 18, 2008 What can I say? You either love pop or hate it, and I completely love it! This album may be sugary but it's sugary in all of the right ways. The hooks are catchy, the songs are fun, and there really are some geniune good songs to listen to. "Didn't I Blow Your Mind" was the track that got the most attention, but people also look over the fact that "Be My Girl" actually made the R&B charts! It's an amazing song as well their fast rap track titled "New Kids on Block" which later became their name. The New Kids did a wonderful job with it. I highly recommend it everybody!

Another 'blockhead' opinion? Aug 08, 2005 Well, yes, I'm afraid this is pretty much so. I've been a fan of New Kids for 14 years now so, what can I say? Anybody taking a look at this product knows what they're dealing with. In spite of many people's opinion on these guys I really like them, the boys they were, the men they turned to be. And it was only through Amazon that I got a chance to purchase this cd. All bubble gum? All popsicle? All eighties? Yeah! Highly recommendable, I'd say. So I am absolutely thankful: with NKOTB, for their music; with Amazon for the perfect and easy delivery; and with you, for reading this. See you.

A 14 yr.old fan! Jun 21, 2005 I love this tape! However, it is not as good as NKOTB's later albums. My favorite song is "Popsicle". I recommend this CD to all New Kids fans. I am a huge fan of them myself. Being only 14, I wasn't around for long during the New Kids era. They are, in my opinion, better than the boybands of today.
