So funny! Dec 15, 2009 The "Buttcracker Suite" is one of the funniest things I've ever heard! If you can find it, get it just for that! I wish they'd re-release this (I originally found the song on Rhapsody) and it is just brilliant!!
Okay, but the first Twisted CD is better Nov 05, 2009 The Bob Rivers crew mostly went the mainstream route here, so the parodies are mostly of non-Christmas songs. The one track I like best is The Most Fattening Time of the Year. Richard Simmons adds so much to this, it's hysterical. That song alone made this disc worth getting, but I'm not too crazy about the other selections.
funny Jan 22, 2009 We listened to this cd and had a really fun time w/ it, we laughed out loud and replayed several songs several times for a good laugh.
Hilarious Jan 13, 2009 This CD makes the hassle of Christmas more tolerable. These people really are twisted. Great CD!!!
You'll be disappointed. Dec 14, 2007 This is the weakest of the many Bob Rivers Christmas albums. There are the usual parodies of Christmas songs, which aren't quite as funny as usual. And then there are the parodies of non-Christmas songs, which are transformed into Christmas songs. They do sound a lot like the performers they are imitating (the B-52's, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix), but the jokes aren't half as funny as they think they are. One peculiar one is a parody of the Rolling Stones' "Get Off of My Cloud", but it is done in the style of Frank Sinatra. Still, it is a moderately funny album. And I do like "There's a Santa Who Looks a Lot Like Elvis".
