Love It! Oct 15, 2009 Both myself and my children love this CD. Songs are very soft and soothing. My son listened to it every night from 19 months (when it first came out) to 3 1/2 years old, my daughter loved it as well. Now we are getting it for our newest member!
A wonderful gift for every Mommy to be Aug 23, 2009 I heard about this CD from Nancy O'Dell's book, and she was soo right!
Every song on the album is beautiful & moved me to tears a lot of times!
It's definately a must have. I've been listening to it while still pregnant, and will play it to our baby once he is there...
Very different, but good. Aug 22, 2009 Celine Dion's 'Miracle,' which was released in October 2004 and created in collaboration with baby photographer Anne Geddes, is a largely 'classical crossover'-like album that's meant to convey the feelings of parents and their children. Although the style isn't what you've come to expect from Ms. Dion, it's not as bad as some people might think.
Some of the songs bring emotion and life to the notion of motherhood and baby. The title track is one of the best examples of this: With lyrics such as 'You're my life's one miracle...Who could ever love you more,' it gives me the feeling of unconditional love exchanged between parents and children, and vice versa. Her solo re-recording of 'The Prayer,' renamed 'A Mother's Prayer,' is much sadder than the duet version with Andrea Bocelli from the 1998 'Quest for Camelot' motion picture, but it shows that Ms. Dion could bring heartfelt emotion in such a way that you'll want to cry and hug your parents, children, or any family members closest to you (it worked for me).
The rest of the album works well, but one or two songs on the album aren't as good as the others, which explains why I took off one star. Otherwise, 'Miracle' is a delicate collection of songs designed specifically for parents AND babies, or anyone who agrees with what Ms. Geddes (she did a superb job on the photography) said: 'Each new life is truly a miracle.' And you don't have to have had a child to enjoy it (I have no children myself).

AMAZING! Aug 16, 2009 I just discovered this great CD when my daughter had her son. It is a PERFECT baby shower gift or 'meet the baby' gift. Almost every song is a lullaby to help sooth baby and they have such sweet meanings behind them. "Beautiful Boy" is my favorite. I have been giving this as part of my gift to all my friends having babies. It is something they will probably never outgrow because the songs are so pretty. Celine's voice is perfect to sing these songs. Preview the songs - I guarentee you won't be disappointed.
Not your average Celine... Jun 19, 2009 This one steps out of the mold and shows Celine's tender side. It doesn't jump it's way onto the pop charts, and I don't expect kids to get much out of it, but what a voice! She can do anything! It is a refreshing change of pace, and although I wouldn't call it a musical masterpiece, I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
