Ahhh, que malo! Nov 07, 2009 Ricky, si no fuera por su cara de nene lindo , no venderias ni un disco.
IT'S JUST INCREDIBLE!!! Mar 22, 2007 I BOUGHT IT A MONTH AGO AND I AM VERY HAPPY BECAUSE MY RICKY MARTIN'S COLLECTION IS COMPLETE. I RECOMMEND THIS CD BECAUSE YOU CAN LISTEN THE ESSENCE OF THIS SUPER SINGER.
great!

Smooth and easy Ricky Jan 26, 2001 "Me Amaras" is one of the early solo Spanish albums of Ricky Martin. In his smooth, confident performances on this CD, one can hear the voice of a young man on the verge of international, cross-cultural megastardom. While the material on "Me Amaras" is not as memorable as that of Ricky's later Spanish-language triumphs, this is still an enjoyable collection. The album is rich in romantic ballads, and also has some faster selections. One standout is the ballad "Eres Como el Aire." Also interesting is a Spanish-language version of "Self Control," the song which was a 1980s hit for Laura Branigan; Ricky's performance is particularly strong on that one. The final song, "Hooray! Hooray! (It's a Holi-Holiday!) mixes Spanish and English lyrics, and has an energetic tropical flavor. All things considered, this is an essential disc for Ricky Martin fans, and also a good choice for fans of Latin pop in general.
Brilliant Mar 28, 2000 This album is simply brilliant. With touches of jazz, rock, pop, and that simply beautiful voice, Ricky Martin's Me Amaras is fabulous. Songs like "No Me Pidas Mas" and "Entre El Amor Y Los Halagos", will sweep any one off their feet and the title track is also wonderful. This album is well worth the investment. As a long time fan of Mr. Martin's I can assure you that this is truly a priceless addition to any cd collection.
