mainliner wreckage from the past Jan 11, 2009 an awesome album from mike ness and social distortion.
great new tunes delivered by one of the best old school punk outfits from orange county. with thought provoking lyrics delivered only as mike ness can.

Only Really For the Die Hards... Mar 29, 2007 This album is a collection of B-sides from the bands early days. There are a couple of good tracks on this collection, but overall there is nothing that really stands out here. There is nothing here of what the band would ultimately become and nothing that wasn't eventually done better on "Mommy's Little Monster". The worthwhile songs on this CD are...
-1945
-Under My Thumb

Half Assed Sep 04, 2006 This CD starts out with some of the most uninspired music I've heard in a long time. It sounds like a kid forced to sing in front of his school and he wants to be anywhere but there. The songs eventually start to pick up in passion around track 7, but it's not worth it to buy a CD for less than half the songs.

Must Own Oct 16, 2005 If your into early Punk Rock you have to own this album! 1945,Mainliner,and All the Answers are classic classic cuts. I consider this album just a notch above Mommy's Little Monster because the production and feel is so raw and powerful. This disc also has the best versions of All The Answers and Moral Threat! This is the way mike ness shoulda' kept Social D ,instead of watering it down over the years into pretty much a college rock band. Story of My Life? No thank You!!! Mass Hysteria? Hell Yeah!!! Do yourself a favor and pick up both Mainliner and Mommy's Little Monster Today!

Classic Social Distortion Nov 09, 2000 The real reason to buy this CD is its inclusion of 1945 and Under My Thumb, songs which were originaly released on the 1945 e.p.. 1945 was released after Mommy's Little Monster, and its a pretty tough record to find. Other than that, some of these songs are from Mommy's Little Monster, which is still available on CD. If you're an old school S.D. fan, the inclusion of the 1945 e.p. songs makes it a must-have.
