As always, Diego is magic - he has it all - the looks, the voice, the charisma. WOW

I had never heard Diego's music. Was seeing him everyone. I purchased the dvd without ever hearing his music. Figured he had to be somewhat good to be so popular. MTV Unplugged Diego Torres was awesome! He was very entertaining. Good singer too.

Today is possible to say that Diego Torres is the most outstanding argentinian singer and this MTV Unplugged prooves it. Released in early 2004 this show contains Diego's biggest hits such as: "NO LO SOÑE", "LA ULTIMA NOCHE", "SUEÑOS" and "COLOR ESPERANZA". A song called by lots of people a hymn of peace and hope and also a very big hit in Latin America and Spain.
The production of the show is flawless and in my opinion the best of all the latin unpluggeds so far. Diego added to his repertory new songs including the hits "CANTAR HASTA MORIR" and "USTED" next to another big argentinian artist, Vicentico. Julieta Venegas also performances next to Diego in "SUEÑOS" and finally as speacial guests you can find La Chilinguita in "COLOR ESPERANZA" where his sings in Spanish and Portuguese. Another interesting thing about this unplugged is that some songs had been re-arranged in different styles including "NO LO SOÑE" which sounds much better on the new version than the original, and "LA ULTIMA NOCHE".
Within the speacial features you can find Diego's commentary, making of, subtitles in Spanish, English and Portuguese, behind the scenes, discography and weblink.
In general this is a great DVD but there's one thing that I don't understand of this production which is why you can find on the cd the great song "QUE NO ME PIERDA" and it isn't here, anyway give it a shot it's great.

TIENE TODO LO QUE SE ESPERA DE EL, LA SELECCION DE LAS CANCIONES, LOS ARREGLOS, LA CALIDAD DE LA IMAGEN Y EL SONIDO SON PERFECTAS, SIN DUDA LA MEJOR CANCION ES "USTED" Y EL DUO CON VICENTICO LE DIO ESE TOQUECITO DE "DESORDEN MAGICO".
EN LOS BONUS, DIEGO APARECE DE UN COMICO!!! NO SE IMAGINAN LO GRACIOSO QUE ES.
EN FIN CREO QUE NO ME CANSARE DE VERLO!

 A must-have for all fans of Diego Apr 11, 2005
Six months ago I didn't know who Diego Torres was. I bought his MTV Unplugged album on a friend's recommendation and fell in love with it. It's my favorite CD and can't stop listening to it.
I bought the DVD version because I wanted to "see" Diego. Even though in the DVD they call it a "concert," it is not. It is rather the taping of the recording session of the Unplugged album before an audience. I guess because it is a recording session the audience is acting so restrained, as if they were listening to a math lecture instead of to somebody's singing where the natural reaction would be to clap, sing along or jump out of their seats and dance.
The only thing that disappoints me about this DVD is that they did not include the song, "Que no me pierda," which you can find in the CD version. I think that was a big mistake because 1) it is one of Diego's best songs and 2) it is mentioned in the documentary "The Making Of" (which is included in the DVD). Imagine watching them talk about the song but you can't find it anywhere in the DVD! I think the editors should have found a way to include it if not in the "concert" portion, at least it could have been one of the three songs they put in the special features. In spite of this omission, this DVD is very enjoyable, highly recommended and a great complement to the CD version.
