Brings up good memories May 20, 2009 Ahhh this was my first introduction to the Ahn Trio, and what a trio they are. If you want a CD to listen to while looking out a window on a rainy day, this is it.
Very interesting and compelling.... Mar 01, 2009 This CD is unique; for those who think they don't like classical music, check this out...it's a one-of-a-kind modern take on Piano Trio music with unique and very listenable arrangements. The Ahn sisters are stunning as always in their musicality and play as one instrument. They are sensational in live performance as well!
Their best work Jan 03, 2009 The album contains some of the most moving and wonderful music the Ahn Trio have ever preformed. It's classic Ahn, soothing yet intricate melodies, with new elements that take the music to the next level. Even the songs from their previous albums ( Oblivion and This is not America, for two) feel new and sound great.
Perfect with a glass of wine on a stay at home day Aug 29, 2008 I've enjoyed listening to the CD so far. It makes me wish for a winter day, sitting on my couch in front of a fire, with a nice glass of wine and a great book and this music in the background.
I grew up listening to a lot of classical, and it's refreshing to have the "classical" sound without simply another group rehashing the same old melodies. Don't get me wrong, I love Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, etc. but I don't always want to hear them. This is a good alternative, and the extra flourishes and addition of vocals on a couple of the tracks kept me intrigued throughout my first listening.
It's classical, but not something you'll already have memorized. After all the heavily synthesized, dubbed, blended music that populates the air waves today, you'll appreciate hearing actual instruments blended together in harmony.

New Age Music Jul 14, 2008 Here's a tip for you: if someone feels it necessary to say certain music is not New Age, you can be pretty sure it is. This is pleasant, anesthetic, soporific background music. Listen to the samples carefully before you buy.
