 Michael Giacchino does it again! Sep 05, 2008
This is just as good as the previous two soundtrack releases. In fact, I almost like it more because of the second disc in the set. It's great to be able to hear the complete score to the Greatest Hits and Through the Looking Glass episodes. Michael Giacchino continues to prove that he is one of the best film composers working today. Anyone that is a fan of the series and it's haunting, emotional, and exciting score should make this a must purchase. This is not to be missed.

Michael Giacchino at his best. If you love Lost you will love this. Its a condensed version of all the music from Season 3 of Lost. On the second disc it has 50 mins of music from the Season 3 finale TTLG. (through the looking glass for you non losties)
A great addition to anyones Lost library.

Ok, I am a MICHAEL GIACCHINO fan, but heck listen to his stuff and you will be too!!!
LOST would not be lost without his music backing it, driving it, shooting it forward along its twists and turns and possible never-ending mysteries!
Firslty, yes I am a GIANT lost fan!!! Im one of THOSE people who have not only never missed an episode... I've watched them again, again and again, watching every detail. I'm one of THOSE people weho hear stuff inseason three or four that relates to other things in season one and actually understand it. I'm the one in my group of friends who gets asked everything about it... or I just say it and then get ignored....
Either way I love the music from the series!! It's one of those few brilliant pieces of work that just blends with the visuals on the screen seamlessly.
and what's more it comes on 2 DISCS! thats two hours of brilliant music!! well worth $100 but that's not even the price!.. ok going a little far, but it really is that good! Never been more pleased with an AMAZON purchase!

This is Giacchino's greatest achievement thus far. Although he follows the same outline as the previous series, he provides in this soundtrack a more extended and dramatic sound that is both complex and rich. Romancing the Cage and Shambala are to pieces that really help describe the magic that is Lost and Giacchino.

Great music from a great show. My only problem is that they could have included more of the thematic moods that Giacchino has been known for- for instance, Desmond's theme could have been expounded on. 2nd disc is continuous TV score and is a bonus that can't be overlooked. Great price as well.
