5Lonesstar Video  Apr 03, 2009
This is an excellent video. Can not understand why the group stopped performing. They were the greatest!!

4Good selection, but the the best  Nov 10, 2008
I had long been a Lonestar fan before they broke through the gate with the song and video "Amazed" in 2001. That song finally gave this talented group the stature and recognition it deserved. No one could sing a country ballad as well as this group could. I don't think the "current" Lonestar is as good since lead vocalist Ritchie McDonald left the group and I was frankly surprised when that happened. These four guys were like "the marriage you would think would never break up." I think creative differences with their former label ultimately lead to McDonald's leaving. The video compliation is a nice nostalgic reminder of the group in their prime. The direction in most of Lonestar's videos was superior, innovative, and visually appealing from my perspective. My only criticism I have with this selection- only six songs- is that it is woefully short and they left out one of the best videos- "Smile." "Smile" was on the "Lonely Grill" album with "Amazed," which is probably why it was overshadowed and lost in the shuffle. It was released as a single after "Amazed" has its long run and I think it wound up as being the "rebound relationship," which is why it didn't get this quality song/video didn't get the spotlight it deserved. This was one of Lonestar's best ballads and the video is one of the most affecting and good fit for the song. You can view it on YouTube. Let me know your thoughts as to whether you think I'm right or wrong.

5Nice video cuts, fascinating lead voice  Sep 02, 2007
Only 6 tracks on it but a good pick. Songs that touch your heart & soul ("Amazed", "I'm Already There") - the lead voice is perfect and unreplaceable like Justin Hayward's of the Moody Blues. The last track is a funny cartoon of the houseman's-nightmare-song "Mr. Mom"; you can't help to smile. Sound is also o.k. if only Dolby stereo is selected, but could be better. May be great in 5.1 (no chance to check, our cats would kill us to own that stuff...)

5Essential Lonestar's Greatest video hits for young explorer's to own  Oct 13, 2006
I love the band Lonestar and I like their music and the way they sing and another favorite band of mine is Diamond Rio. I like their music, the way they sing, and I do like some of their early stuff from when they first wore cowboy hats when bass guitarist John Rich (who's now in Big & Rich) used to be in the band for two years.

The people who are in the band Lonestar are:

Richie MacDonald - Lead vocals, acoustic guitar and keyboards
Keech Rainwater - Drums
Dean Sams - Piano, keyboards, acoustic guitar, harmonica and background vocals
Michael Britt - Electric, lead and acoustic guitars and background vocals

That's who the band is now for Lonestar and they are a great band and also it is very strange like: John Rich - lead vocals and bass guitar, who thinks it's very strange to have two lead singers in a band? Who wants to lead singers in a band?

The music videos on this DVD are:

1. Amazed
2. With me
3. I'm Already There
4. My Front Porch Looking In
5. Not a day goes by
6. Mr. Mom

And those are the best six music videos but, the only thing I wish for this DVD is that I wish "No News" was on this DVD, even thought it wasn't put on this DVD because John Rich had left the band in 1998 and they're not in cowboy hats even now, they're in a new style but, the world should know that the best seven music videos would be No News, Amazed, With Me, I'm Already There, My Front Porch Looking In, Not a day goes bye and Mr. Mom (the animated cartoon music video) and those would be just the perfect best seven music videos to only show their first music video "No News" of their first look likes. It's just too good to look at and passing by, SOMEDAY!

The best three Lonestar CD's you might like are From There to Here: Greatest Hits, 16 Biggest Hits [ORIGINAL RECORDING REMASTERED] and Mountains are the best three Lonestar CD's you might be a big fan of and the CD 16 Biggest Hits [ORIGINAL RECORDING REMASTERED] and those are the only best three CD's ever and Before joining Big & Rich, John Rich was a member of another country band, Lonestar. But, while in Lonestar John Rich was the bassist and, on some occasions, the lead singer (one of the band's singles, "Heartbroke Every Day," featured his lead vocals). But my only favorite song with John Rich's lead vocals is "Does your daddy know about me" because, I like the sound of that electric guitar and violin, fiddles in that song because of the way they sound and "Does You Daddy Know About me" is the only one I like of John Rich's lead vocals and that is great.

Amazed is a great song, With Me is a great song, I'm Already There is an OK song but I cry and get sad a lot for that song because of the way the music sounds and it reminds me of the 1990 opening theme of All My Children by Billy Barber and Bob Israel because they are in the same sound and the same key and also if for I'm Already There if you could smile for the key of G for the hot licks of the electric guitar and not for the key of G for I'm Already There which makes you sad is kind of the soft sounds of Dean Sams on the piano in the opening of "I'm Already There", piano and thank goodness that there was no loud saxophone and it sure had been replaced by the soft sounds of a piano for "I'm Already There" or maybe thankfully that might come out on horn solo the Tex-Mex trumpet fused the Dwight Yoakam song 'Sorry You Asked". It's gives you some great good chuckles of playing the Tex-Mex Suck My Kiss trumpet in the tight zippered black leather pants if you know what happens when someone asks him why his girlfriend left him, is a dead ringer for recent George Jones with a former flame, My Front Porch Looking In is a great song and fine, Not a day goes by is a great song and is OK, but I don't like that song and music video Mr. Mom because that makes me cry and get sad a lot for that song because of the way the music sounds and I don't feel safe because I hate that song "Mr. Mom" and the music video, the only ones I like are Amazed, With Me, I'm Already There (sometimes can make me sad), My Front Porch Looking in and Not A day goes by are my only five favorite music videos and that's why the Essential Lonestar's Greatest video hits should be for young explorer's to own to show of how they can feel emotions and how they feel sometimes.

So the some of few music videos, here's how some of them are as if for the NFR years of the 2001 year are:

1. Amazed (perfect for the 2001 National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas, Nevada).

Sorry about the others just 'cause I'm not sure about other years to come but Amazed is OK for the 2001 year if that's OK with you but, I'll find out about the music videos for the other perfect years, don't worry about that, be happy:)

Lonestar's first music video "No News" is a great one and No news is bad news when the wife hits the road - and busts out the short skirt - in this country video. No, No, No, No News. That's how Michael Britt, John Rich and Dean Sams, all three of them sing "No, No, No, No News" to open up the music video and the song and that's great and BEST.

Lonestar's No News reminds me of the Red Hot Chili Pepper's song "Get on Top" and Lonestar should be a part of the Red Hot Chili Peppers song "Get on Top" which makes me laugh because for Michael Britt in No News of lonestarwebsite.no.sapo.pt/nonews_video18.jpg and chuckles of You Don't Know, Do you and the Get on Top lyrics part of Hit me come get me I bite but she bit me because it reminds me of being 13 feet and yards away for the school property if your up on the hill and you try to run away and hide to see if somebody can stop you if somebody can grab you off of someone and throw you off of someone by hitting you and coming to get you when you start to run away and say sassily and laughter and also not hearing what you're saying and "YOU DON'T KNOW DO YOU?" and then, Louie Greco in All My Children of the episode when a guard opens the door and Noah sees Greco on Julia and grabs Louie off of Julia and throws him off of her and that's what I mean be of Lonestar simular to that song because it reminds me of Louie Greco, which is OK for Lonestar just for the one Red Hot Chili Peppers song, and that probably is just a fair deal and that is funny. That's all I'm going to say about it!

Again, I really loved, and enjoyed this best music videos ever and watch them as much as you wan't.

They were the best!

No News is my everyday life and also everything is just the best:)
