The Beauty of the Lao Tzu Nov 13, 2009 This is a lovely book with plenty of wisdom on every page. I am also an author of a translation of the Tao Te Ching. Dr. Dyer has written a wonderful version.

I am grateful to Dr. Dyer for this book. Jul 01, 2009 I bought this after reading Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life by Dr. Dyer. I adore this book. By reading an excerpt every morning, I am able to consciously set the tone for my day. Touching base with the Tao keeps me aware and conscious of inherent spiritual principles that have gradually altered my entire way of being and have begun healing many of my long-held perceptions about myself and the world around me.
Wonderful! May 09, 2009 This book was in excellent condition for a used book. It's an inspiring book and was well worth the few dollars I spent!
Timely Apr 07, 2009 I really like this version of a classic wisdom teaching, and I have read many translations and commentaries over the past thirty years. Dyer's version is beautifully packaged, making it easy to use and to re-use... and just calling out for small-group reflection. I also like that Dr. Dyer has chosen to forego commentary and historical introduction with this rendition, enhancing its appeal for first-time readers of the Tao.
Nicely done!
Surpisingly Wonderful! Mar 03, 2009 I have never really read or studied any of Dr. Dyer's work but as a seeker and Yoga teacher I am interested in the Daoist philosoply. I wanted an introduction to the Tao Te Ching and found the perfect book! The translation is clear and refined; the affirmations provided by Dr. Dyer are abundantly helpful. One can turn to any page on any day and find a verse which one can apply to one's work or personal life. As a Yoga teacher, I am reading verses from the book to my students to help them connect to positive affirmations as they progress through a Yin or restorative practice. This book is indeed a gem.
