Hits from the stage. Oct 17, 2006 "Live At The Fillmore" confirms my thought that live rap albums just don't really work. Even with the great Cypress Hill this only comes off as ok for fans. I initially had high hopes for this disc because the tracklist is killer. I wish the "Greatest Hits" album had these songs. And while this is still decent, soundwise it just doesn't have the impact that the albums do. Mid-way through the songs all start to sound the same. This is something the fanatic will probably love, but otherwise I'd say stick with the first three albums, and maybe "Skull & Bones".

Oct 07, 2002 ..this is one of the greatest live albums eve.....r....so you gotta buy it....the sound and voices are kinda.....scavenger or something...that's right this is a great hip hop band..but...they can turn crazy all the crowd just like any metal band....sen dog sounds kinda rude but funny.....and b real just awesome.....oh my gawd is awesome!!the only bad thing is that they didn't play any song from temples of boom.....that was really ....some anyway buy it sucka!
don't mess with the Hill, just buy this cd Feb 19, 2002 This album showcases Cypress Hill's best material as well as their skill at performing live. They deliver off-the-hook versions of killer songs like "Aint goin out like that", "Rock superstar", and of course "Insane in the brain". I like the way the performances keep the hardcore style intact, but put a spin on the way the songs sound compared to the original recordings. My only complain deals with the dvd--they should have included more of the Fillmore show instead of putting all the videos on it. Or simply released 2 dvd's--one of the entire show, and the other with all the Hill's videos. Holla.
SSSSSMokin! Dec 28, 2001 Cypress Hill are like the Jimmy Buffetts of rap--they may not be at the cutting edge of their game, but when playing live you know you're gonna have a great time. Rap bands have a bad reputation as far as live performances, and deservedly so. To this day, only three acts can deliver a 90-minute show that brings the house down--OutKast, KRS-One, and the Hill. Using the guitars accentuates the menace that could otherwise get lost in a concert setting. This has made me almost forget the studio versions of some of the songs. Excellente!
