You finished your solo with THAT? Sep 04, 2009 I agree with most of what is being said here: Zakk plays masterfully on this ablum/DVD.
What wrenched my gut was watching what went from an electric, spectacular guitar solo by Zakk Wylde, to a slide into excess, hubris and indulgence.
It was cutsie when Zakk played around with Eruption. But he then started what seemed like it might have been another quick tribute to Hendrix with the Star Spangled Banner. He played the whole thing. He finished his 9 minute solo with the entire US national anthem...in JAPAN.
It was ignorant, and if you'll notice, the crowd was not as in awe of Zakk when he finished as they were before he did that.
In other news, Mike Bordin is da man. It is glorious that he got back with FNM, because Ozzy holds him back. Ozzy's stuff is too simplistic for a pioneer of a drummer that Puffy is.
Peas.
"Louder" May 28, 2008 This cd from the Oz man is amazing. The live versions of "That I never had," "Junkie," and "Get's Me Through" are better than on the Down To Earth cd. Zakk plays way better than on Live and Loud. My favorite Ozzy live cd.

WHO IS SMOKING WHAT HERE ??? Feb 09, 2006 This is one of the best bands Ozzy has ever put together since the origional Black Sabbath period! With Zakk on lead guitar and Rob playing bass it gave this album and Ozzy what it needed a swift kick in the a$$ Don't choke buy it. And if your really smart buy the dvd you won't be sorry.

Live Ozzy Aug 03, 2005 This album is bloody awful. The worst live album ever recorded. Ozzy's foul mouth and an audience that is louder than the songs. The songs are played awful and the mix is worse. Ozzy should just hang it up. It is a shame that someone who put out a string of brilliant albums with Black Sabbath and his first two solo albums (also brilliant), doesn't know when to quit. It is also sad that such superb 90's releases by Blue Oyster Cult, Heart, Peter Frampton and others are given no promotion whatsoever. This thug (idiot) just keeps getting support and airplay of new music. The music industry executives are complete idiots making way too much money.
