TQ - THA BOMB OF WEST COAST HIP HOP Jan 12, 2005 This latest release by TQ is a 5 star album. They never saw me coming and his 2nd album, The second coming were also great.. especially his songs - Westside, Bye Bye Baby and Hard Life.
Listen is a great cd - the stand out songs being, Listen, Gone But Not Forgotten and Angela Jones. These songs talk about the Ghetto Lifestyle, and make reference to Hiphop greats including Easy and Pac (greatest MC of all time)..
TQ - ur tha bomb.. - Westside till i die..
R.I.P 2Pac... (Check out his latest album - Loyal To the Game)

The Best Yet Dec 07, 2004 I have been enjoying TQ's music for the moment I heard Westside. His first album was great, his second I thought was just as great, and his third is the best one yet. The lyrics really go deep which is what music needs these days. So many songs out now are full of the same garbage talking about girls in the club and their cars. My favorites are "Gone But Not Forgotten" and "Until". I have a radio show with my school's radio station and I play at least 4 to 5 tracks off of this album every show. The public needs to know about the pure talent of TQ. People who didn't know about that have heard it play have loved it. If you are thinking of buying this album, stop thinking and pick it up.

A Gifted Artist! Oct 21, 2004 This is a great CD. I bought his earlier CD which was superb and this is an excellent follow-up. TQ is a true artist in his field. BJB Corona Hill Ct.

Highly underrated Sep 28, 2004 Every so often comes an artist with skill that simply surpasses that of his contemporaries. TQ is one such artist. Every single song on this album was written and produced by him, except for the Prince remake, of course. His voice is as a good as, if not better, than R. Kelly's and his lyrics are poignant, powerful, and relevant to current life. It is certainly a change from his first cd, which told a story from beginning to end and represented both ghetto fantasy and mature, realistic tracks that commonly used single verse guest appearances from other rap artists to alter the tone of the album in places. However, he is capable of singing in different ways that continue to hold interest and blend with the beats to produce some seriously ill tracks. Instead of the storytelling focus of his first cd, he focuses more on life in ghetto from a general perspective, but still drops Angela Jones, a highly memorable track about a woman whose husband got killed and had to make money by selling her body. I bet you can guess how the song ends; it certainly ain't a happy ending. I can't compare it to his second cd that was only released in Europe as I haven't been able to get ahold of it, so I can't say anything about that. Get this cd if you like complex lyrics and music with deep instrumentals.
