Hubby and I both love this music, such an unusual mix of two cultural styles. We have it on out ipods and listen to it when exercising,swimming, great beat! We got a lot of his music from Amazon.

Matis is headed in a new direction with this sound....so you need to be open minded to enjoy. But his talent and mix of sounds/beats/words is still top notch

I am not even going to bother reading any of the negative reviews because this cd is the best Matisyahu yet in my opinion. How many follow-up cd's come out after a hit like Live at Stubbs that are just as good or better? Not many....and Light just blew me away. Music is an individual experience and there are several tracks on this cd that give me chills. I have seen him live and can't wait to go again to hear some of the Light songs live.

From the opening riff of the first track right through the last tender notes of "Silent" this album is an epic success. Anyone who enjoys any Matisyahu music, or anyone who enjoys meaningful, thoughtful, and well produced music should love this album. I can't stop playing it, and in no way is that depressing.
