4Surprised  Sep 12, 2009
I was pleasantly surprised by this. The first song is great, but I can't play it with the rugrats around.

5insane  Sep 03, 2009
they are a very young band and for thm to play as good as they do is just incredible

3The album art is cool  Aug 02, 2009
This is not a bad album. It also is not groundbreaking or cutting edge, and definitely not the future of heavy metal. It is accessable, and radio friendly, but then again so is a lot of the new stuff from established veterans such as Killswitch, ATR, Firewind, or even In Flames. Those bands were all cutting edge at one time, and still are in many ways, Black Tide is not. But they have some decent songs, and can rock out on occassion, so I really can't say I hate it. I just prefer other bands.

5Unique in Today's Music Scene  Jun 22, 2009
This is music to the ears of anyone who's ever heard Ride the Lightning or The Number of the Beast and thought to yourself, "Why doesn't anyone make music like this anymore?"

This is the real deal and, in my opinion, the only band among the recent wave of rockers claiming to bring back the good old days that makes good on their promise and lives up to expectations.

Excellent musicianship and songwriting are to be found here, complete with soaring guitar solos and a vocalist that sings (and sings well).

4good  May 05, 2009
I thought that this album returned the listener to the days of good metal. Where the bass was low the guitars were screaming and the vocals blow your brain! Looking for something different than the regular scream and below non-understandable words. Then by this album!!!!!!
