Joshua Bell Feb 05, 2010 After nearly a lifetime of not particularly enjoying violin music, after hearing Joshua Bell's playing on the soundtrack of Ladies in Lavender, I've come to appreciate violin music, and can now also recognise the different kinds of violin I hear. Some wonderful compositions on this CD - Good on you Nigel Hess. This is a most valuable and loved addition to my CD library. Thanks Joshua for your sensitive playing. Gwen
absolutely lovely Dec 25, 2009 Transporting, peaceful and joyous, the movie and music are gifts of love and glory from Joshua Bell.

Lovely music for our Ladies in Lavender Nov 30, 2009 Violin playing doesn't come any better than Joshua Bell, and it was his music which provided wonder to this lovely story. His virtuosity and sensitivity are both apparent, and is NOT just "background movie music" but can stand beautifully as a separate album. His "Meditation" rivals the best!
ladies in Lavender Sound Track Oct 16, 2009 The sound track was the exact music that we enjoyed while watching a DVD of the movie, Ladies in Lavender.
