for those who are wondering what happened to kim scott.... Feb 22, 2006 she currently sings with a go-go (genre exclusive to the washington, dc are) band called rare essence. and her voice has matured, but she's still got it.

She's only 11 years old but she's got something to say! Apr 19, 2005 I bought this album about four years ago after seeing her on the Jenny Jones show and I was blown away. Kimberly has a mature soulful voice which hits the high and the low notes perfectly. You'd never guess her age through her voice. The album's lyrics are excellent and would appeal to her peers and an older generation.
Wyclef has put his stamp on the album and there is another rapper on it who is really good although I have no idea who she is.
My favourite track is "Come to Life". The lyrics in particular give me goosebumps.
Both versions of "Tuck me in" are excellent and more upbeat. In fact there is no track on this album that I would fast forward.
Another song I love is "Never Can Say Goodbye". Although I've heard so many versions of this song (originally by Michael Jackson when he was only about ten)it is Kimberly Scott's version that sticks in my mind.
My only confusion is...where IS Kimberly Scott?? If you are reading this, Kim, please make another album sometime soon. I'd like to think you're just on a break getting an education or something and then you'll be right back!
