Great singer !!! May 11, 2008 An excelent R&B singer ! Wonderful !! I hope can buy all albuns from him.
Kenny Lattimore Dec 27, 2007 I got a little nostalgic for some good r&b music and pulled Kenny's debut out. I hadn't listened to it in a long time so it was a good re-introduction to an artist with one of the more beautiful & smooth r&b voices. This is a very mellow cd that perfectly displays Kenny's singing ability as well as features mature lyrics and just all out beautiful songs. Listening to this makes me sad that on today's r&b landscape there are so few guys who can truly sing as well as Kenny or could produce such a timeless collection of songs.
The standout tracks to me are:
FOR YOU - this was Kenny's breakout single, it's a georgeous love song that is well sung, produced & written
WHERE DID LOVE GO, FORGIVENESS, NEVER TOO BUSY, I WON'T LET YOU DOWN &
JOY - a mid-tempo song that proves Kenny can sing quicker tempo songs and not just ballads
I'd recommend this disc to music fans who are not only curious about Kenny Lattimore but also curious about late '90s r&b music - this is truly one of the better debut discs from a male artist.
Kenny's Got What It Takes Nov 07, 2006 It is 2006 and I am STILL bumping this CD. There is not a bad song on this CD and For You is still the epitome of love songs. Joy, Climb The Mountain, Never Too Busy, Forgiveness...the whole CD is like that!
One of the best albums from a year which produced A LOT of crap albums Oct 23, 2006 One of the smoothest and most sensual male love balladiers in contemporary R&B today, Kenny Lattimore's silky-smooth voice and warm sentiment make him one of Gen-X's favorite artists for those deeply in love with each other. Standout tracks include the wedding favorite "For You", "Joy", and the inexplicably non-hit "Climb The Mountain." Lattimore (born 4-10-70) is married to contemporary soul queen Chante Moore.

Slicker than your average R&B album Oct 09, 2005 Kenny's got it all - the good looks, the charm, the musical talent to write & produce and the smooth vocals. Put all of these attributes together and you end up with one fine collection of R&B tracks to make one solid album. I still listen to this album from start to finish so many years after its release and I don't get bored of it. My favourite tracks are Never Too Busy and Just What It Takes. I'm sure many babies have been made to the music on this album. This is a great CD to listen to when you're having a romantic evening indoors or when you want to listen to slow jams during a romantic drive with your mate. Enjoy.
