Great tunes! Jan 19, 2008 If you like this movie or not, you will love this soundtrack. Great tune by Beck and redo of Cure's song.

Must Agree Jan 15, 2008 Must echo the thoughts here. Track 1 is just beautiful "Just Like Heaven" by Katie Melua. Also Colors by Amos Lee is wonderful. Those two songs alone are worth the album.

This soundtrack is just like Heaven! Apr 11, 2006 I love most of the songs on this soundtrack!!! Spooky, colors, just like heaven by Katie Melua, and I've got a spell on you are my very faves! And this movie was just awesome, It's the kind of movie that makes you feel good, and I just love movies like that.

"....Dancing in the Deepest Oceans, You're Just Like a Dream...." Mar 24, 2006 Fans of the Cure will no doubt disagree, but I like Katie Melua's cover of their "Just Like Heaven" better than the original. (Both versions are in the movie and on this CD.) Melua's soft voice and the guitar work are sublime, and the lyrics, which are kind of lost in the Cure's version, come to the fore in Melua's. The lyrics are also given more meaning after you connect them to what happens in the film, which in my opinion was just about the best movie of 2005.
Another outstanding track is Amos Lee's "Colors," which played towards the end of the film when David (Mark Ruffalo) thought that he had lost Elizabeth's (Reese Witherspoon) love forever.
