I first heard this cd on a christmas choir rehearsal. I thought to myself I must have this cd. It is my CD player right now.

James Taylor's unique voice, and the instrumental arrangement for the carols on this CD create a beautiful listening experience! Just when you think you've heard every, tired, version of your favorite songs...to the point you just get bored of listening to Christmas music, along comes James Taylor and breathes new life into them! Listening to this album takes your imagination to a place where the snow is falling gently, there is a roaring fire in the fireplace, and good friends and family are close. Some sacred, some fun, all soothing and sentimental, as only James Taylor can do.

Don't have any James Taylor music, but I'm from his "generation" and I like his music. I especially love Christmas music and this is an excellent CD. I've never liked "Go, Tell It On The Mountain", but I really like James' rendition. Probably one of the reasons why I bought this CD. I highly recommend this CD if you like Christmas music, and especially if you're a James Taylor fan.

James Taylor performing with the brilliant musical arraingements of Dave Gusin along with a wonderful mix of great supporting musicians. Let me tell you folks - It just does not get any better than this! WOW!!!
