Ham Sandwhiches & Pineapple Strudle May 31, 2009 I first heard Foxy Shazam on MySpace and then soon bought their Flamingo Trigger album. It was so unique to me at that time. So RAW, so hyper and melodic and insane and yet wise. Of course, no bands are purely their own. Regardless of what other bands sound similar to Foxy Shazam, Foxy Shazam does it better. Does it louder, does it more peaceful.
Piano Driven, Scream Driven, just wow. I wish I could explain it.
Great Band! Aug 05, 2008 Purchased this cd for my sister.. great music no complaints here... product was delivered in great condition and fast as well!
Totally Awesome!!!! Jun 13, 2008 Not a bad song on the cd. Check out Dangerous Man and Yes, Yes, Yes. One month later and I am still playing it everyday. Can't wait to see them live.
I always knew there was something special about this band... Apr 09, 2008 This album was a pleasant surprise. I say this because their infamous first is completely brutal in all the right ways, and wasn't sure what to expect. This one is much "softer", but once again, in all the right ways. It has melody, great hooks, glorious choruses, and is a great modern pop piece. It maintains that certain rawness in its production, and it certainly works. It's extremely re-listenable, and is a ton of fun. Definitely get this album, as well as their first, listen to them both as much as you can, and go see these guys live (one of the best live acts you'll ever see).

much more than a bond girl Feb 25, 2008 With a name like a bond girl a home like Cincinnati and a sound like an impromptu version of the Blood Brothers Foxy Shazam is not something to ignore their new album Introducing is more then a month old and has been dominating my "recently played" playlist for every bit of it. This is Foxy's Debut on Ferret Music and arguable their debut period due their previous album being almost completely DIY release. The self-proclaimed Evel Knievel of rock and roll went into the studio with producer Casey Bates (responsible for such albums as Chiodos' "Bone Palace Ballet" and The Number Twelve Looks Like You's "Mongrel") and put out ten tracks of DDR inducing gold. The tracks make you want to dance not like bates previously mentioned works either but in a way most people wouldn't feel comfortable with doing in public I found myself bending my knees and latterly tapping my toes. A couple tracks bring it harder then others, for instance, the opening track (introducing) is a fast paced hit with a strong hit and catchy chorus while the closing track (Cool) is hard to warm up to its is a let down by one bad track out of ten isn't bad and even the bad tracks aren't like wentz-mania or anything. Introducing is like the awkward love child of Modest Mouse's "The Moon and Antarctica" and The Blood Brother's "Crimes". It has it mother's strong yet light lyrics and its father's vocal range coupled with unexpected twist and turns in a beautiful manner. Introducing is not at the top of the game but that due to a lack of experience this Album was far from any poppy cheesy Fueled By Ramen band(that they boil down and remake more then Mario Games) I give introducing by Foxy Shazam a 96%
