Amazing Aug 08, 2009
This was the first Apocalyptica CD I bought and from the first time I listened to it I was in love. While this music is in no way even close to metal (sorry, but it really isn't) the covers are fantastic and creatively arranged. While I have heard many people complain that is is a travesty to hear Metallica's music played by cellos, I believe that it is truly a tribute and a compliment to Metallica and what they have done for the music industry. The musicians themselves, being classically trained, are fantastic, and while the are not "Rastipovitch or Yo-Yo Ma" as one reviewer pointed out (I would hardly say that was worth pointing out; talent like Yo-Yo Ma's is a gift from birth and not something just anyone can learn), they are truly brilliant, and it is nice to listen to trained musicians not just garage band artists. And that goes for every album Apocalyptica has put out so far, and I do own every single one.

Apocalyptica is one of the most innovative and original ensembles ever existed. They possess creative muscle, expressive strength, bullet proof originality, mercurial energy, full rounded expansiveness and first rate technique.
This album is one of these overwhelming outbursts of volcanic inspiration. Literally every piece is a masterwork by itself. Of course, Harmageddon, Nothing else matters, refuse/resist, Inquisition symphony, Fade to black stand out because of its primordial wilderness and full expressiveness, but this album is one of the most relevant of the decade.

Amazing to listen to Jan 09, 2007
I heard of this band from a friend, and fell in love. Great party music or to listen to at the office or driving. No words all instruments. I would honestly recommend these guys to everyone and anyone I meet.

This is a Great Tribute Album to Metallica. This is way I started loving Classical type of music now.
