Not the better Incubus blu ray Feb 09, 2010 I have this and the Look Alive blu ray, and I would definitely suggest look alive over this one. As far as blu ray discs go, the video isn't great and the sound isn't great. I prefer the playlist on Look Alive as well. Not really one of those blu ray's I'm glad I purchased. If you are a huge Incubus fan and you understand the greatness that is Red Rocks, you'll be glad you have it, but I'd be surprised if the DVD version didn't look and sound identical.
Great concert Feb 02, 2010 This is a very good blueray. All of the audio is very very good. I'm listening to it on a Pioneer VSX 1018 biwired to Eosone rsf-600's. Simply amazing, sounds better than a lot of concerts i've been to.
concert visuals Dec 31, 2009 this is more of a question, i got the blu ray version of this and i have seen the dvd version and the dvd has the five concert visuals of pistola, sick sad, here in, warmth and just a phase. but i haven't been able to find them on blu ray and one know if they were left out on the blu ray or if they are hidden.
other then that i love the blu ray version it is great if the visuals are left out i may get the dvd one to supplement that.
Probably the best Blu-Ray I own! Oct 08, 2009 I've never been to an Incubus concert, and I'm little more than a casual fan of their music, but this Blu-Ray blew me away. The picture is excellent, and the sound is nothing short of insane. The overall experience of this concert is highly sensual, and you are immersed and hooked from the first song. I think this is a MUST OWN item for anybody with a high-end home theater, or anybody that loves Rock Music. Worth every penny!
very enjoyable Oct 02, 2009 incubus' album with pardon me, stellar, the warmth is one of my all time favorites. it was one of those defining albums i remember having in high school. i saw these guys live in austin, tx a couple of years later while i was in college and i really wasn't too impressed. when i saw this video i realized that is still true. incubus is a pretty boring band live. they don't move around. they stand there and play their instruments. it doesn't make things intriguing in a live setting, however they are excellent musicians and really do an awesome job playing their respective instruments, and that makes for a great blu ray disc. the sound here is great. i am a musician myself and i'm still not 100% sure that some of the vocals are not dubbed over. it really looks like the singer got some help on some songs, but i can't say that with certainty, just my opinion from being a live performer in my day. 4/5, but i can't say that i have honestly ever seen a series of reviews that claim "this is the best thing you will ever do in your life," and agreed 100%, so take my review as only that.
