I love the Moody Blues! Sep 28, 2009 I'm finally getting around to replacing all my Moody Blues record albums with CDs. There are some excellent songs on "In Search of the Lost Chord", my favorites being "The Actor" and "Legend of a Mind" (re. Timothy Leary). Their music takes me back to another place and time, and it holds up well.
In Search of the Lost Chord Sep 24, 2009 Quite a lot of bonus material, and a modest upgrade in sound. Not quite as good sonically as Long Distance Voyager, but I think it's a good choice over the original release. Has any one reviewed a SACD version of this alblum?
Moody Blues Finest Sep 07, 2009 One of the Finest Moody Blues Albums put out, great music all around, the flute used in some of the songs really bring out the great sound that is the Moody Blues....."House of Four Doors" is Brilliant along with Dr.Livingston,Legend of a Mind,The Actor,Ride my See-Saw. great music, but questions Aug 29, 2009 Some mysteries here.
There's a mention of an outtake called "Kings and Queens" in the liner notes and I've seen it on import reissues, but is not included here.
Also - to my ears, "Ride My See-Saw" sounds like it's in mono; as it might have been in the original - otherwise - stereo release. Perhaps because it was a single(?)
Awesome CD Jul 31, 2009 Great CD. Not one song I do not like. Wonderful music, wonderful band.
