I Kow You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too Sep 17, 2009 Martha just gets better and still not hiding anything. There is great instrumentation, harmonic voices, instrumental variation and a clear production, a wonderful listening experience that reveals a bit more on each listening, 4 X's for me and looking forward to more...DBL

DISMAL and Awful Mar 16, 2009 What a waste of airspace...I had the misfortune of seeing her open for Simply Red. She was rude, drugged up and had no direction. Her manager must be a shark to have gotten her in there last minute. She was disrespectful and represents what's wrong with feminine culture. Very dissapoiting! Do not support her! Who cares if she is Rufus's sister. Obnoxious, poor taste and spiritless.
Singer/Songwriter Shines Mar 13, 2009 Martha Wainwright more than lives up to her family reputation! Great songs and great delivery.
I've got feelings too, MW Mar 08, 2009 This is a superb record. Nowadays is so hard to find a delightful and so peace giver voice like Martha's one. There is a lot of silly and useless music all around Us. I do recommend this CD very much. Particularly, "comin' tonight", "tower song" and "bleeding all over you". Immersed in these difficut times as We all are, listening to Martha Wainright's performance is like finding an oasis in the middle of NoWhereLand.
I rather like it, a lot Sep 12, 2008 Having read all of the reviews of this album to date, I do agree with those that were positive, and don't understand where the negative opinions are coming from. I recently took a trip to Wyoming and back (from Missouri) and this was, to my surprise (being an old guy in his sixth decade), the album I listened to the most, returning to it again and again. (The other albums included Cave, Cohan, Dylan, Watson, W. Nelson, and many others). This album is well produced with well written songs and masterful singing accompanied by very professional musicians.
I rather like it, a lot.
