 HURRY-UP ( make another blues album ) Oct 28, 2009
COME ON STEVEN TYLER, stop with the new album ...put on hold.....and make another BLUES HONKIN ALBUM. Really, there very,very good......and this is AROSMITHS cup of tea.IT HAD TO BE FUN TO MAKE....so make some more. It's your lives man, end your music careers on top with BLUES albums. You'll be remembered for this HONKIN album, years down the road....way more then the nineties stuff. MAN, if any other band would have made this HONKIN ON BOBO album....they would do a follow up. IT'S TO GOOD, gotta keep this AROSMITH BLUES COVER ALBUMS stuff going. IT's the best album on the market.....I PROMISE YA (since the early 90's ). GOOD STUFF and FUN !!!!!

Aerosmith invented this style of BLUES covers Rockin style....NOW THEY need to keep doing it. AGAIN. "IF IT AIN'T BROKE THEN DON'T FIX IT." And this album BLUES/ AEROSMITH style.....AIN'T BROKE. IT is great. SO MAKE ANOTHER one...REALLY Tyler. You came up with this Idea....so do it again. Everybody loves this stuff. MAKES US ROCK FANS HAPPY....makes you rich.....and plus this album was # 5 on it's release date ( which is really good for a blues album). They make volume 2 for hit's albums all the time. SO MAKE VOLUME 2 of HONKIN on BOBO. Everything on it is a hit ANYWAY." GOOD JOB...well done...MY MONEY IS WAITING FOR ANOTHER....."

Really, this band deserves the MEDAL OF HONOR, for this album. How many bands have enough "GUTS and BRAVERY", to come out with a blues album and change the songs to there own HARD ROCK / BLUESY style? AND IT IS WONDERFUL. SO GOOD that STEVEN TYLER needs to be brave again and go to WAR with "ANOTHER ALBUM JUST LIKE THIS....another HONKIN ON BOBO ( AGAIN ). YEP, this stuff works......PLEASE AEROSMITH, MAKE VOLUME 2. This stuff has REAL STYLE ( alot of it ). Please spoil us AMERICANS again with another BLUES cover album/ hard rock aerosmiths style. I promise ,me and my friends will buy 3 apiece. This album, is something new to the rock world....YOU GUYS INVENTED IT. Keep it going on. LOVE IT, just love it. DO IT AGain. Title the volume 2....."BOBO's BACK". And I promise all the fans will be back , as well to buy another.

This is a great "blues" release by Aerosmith, and they do a pretty darn good job for a classic rock band. It contains 12 great songs. It's all good, but some highlights include: "Baby Please Don't Go" (Down to New Orleans), "Back, Back Train" (featuring Joe Perry), "You Gotta Move", and "Jesus in on the Mainline". This is a great Cd, and I highly recommend it. Thanks!!!

Aerosmith - 'Honkin' On Bobo' (Columbia) 4 1/2 stars Jul 15, 2008
Superbly assembled twelve track CD release of Aerosmith's personal tribute to their choice of the most influential (and most important) blues performers of all time. At first I assumed this was a live CD, but it's probably just as well that it's not. Production is top notch here. Tunes I could barely get enough of are the Bo Diddley staple, the {always} foot-stomping "Road Runner", "Shame Shame Shame", "Baby, Please Don't Go", Willie Dixon's "I'm Ready" and "Stop Messin' Around". Has barely been out of my CD player since I got it. Recommended.
