Good chill music Aug 05, 2009 I had first heard of Justin about a month ago and love his music right away. Order the CD and like to play it in the garage while I'm working on stuff.
If you are a music fan, you'll love this! Jun 03, 2009 I first heard of Justin Nozuka on the John Mayer, Mayer Craft 2 cruise. I went for the fact that it was going to Cabo San Lucus. I ended my trip a fan of this very talented man and his band.
Justin is not only talented, as demonstrated in this album, but he is a very nice and humble man. I look forward to hearing more of his music and attending the Nozuka craft cruise in the future.
Greatest new artist Apr 24, 2009 I saw him first on DirecTV's The 101 in concert and was blown away. I was really sick and couldn't concentrate on a TV show cause I was so miserable so I stopped on music and it just totally relaxed me. My husband said who is that? So I had to find out, we both loved it. Now I listen to it on my CD or watch the concert in the background all the time. Got a copy for each of my family members - who loved it. My parents even called from the car on a road trip and said "Wow, this is great music you sent us" They thought it sounded from "way back" in "thier time" and couldn't believe his age. He connects to everyone, with every single song. A cross between uplifting hang out music and heartwrenching blues (if you listen to the words - a couple of songs just rip your heart out-in a good way) Absolutely Amazing, very hard to find sound. I've been waiting for my bluesy/rock Clark brothers to come out with thier album and needed a good, very talented, bluesy fix and Justin Nozuka was just what I needed.
well worth the money Apr 11, 2009 soulful, yet upbeat. a great collection of songs. not a single bad song on the entire album. would recommend this is to anyone.
The kid's got TALENT!!! Feb 05, 2009 Okay...so I stumbled across After Tonight by accident. I heard it playing on a MySpace page and could not get the song out of my head. I then downloaded the song...because I loved it. Then Amazon offered the song Criminal as a free download. Well I snapped that one up. I too thought this would be a CD with 1 or 2 songs that I liked...so I you-tubed him. I wasn't overly impressed but the good reviews on this site swayed me to buy his CD. I was blown away with Justin's talent. I can't believe he was a teenager when he recorded this. It took me several times of listening to really appreciate the entire CD...and appreciate it I do. Justin's voice speaks for itself. My personal favorites are After Tonight, Criminal, Golden Train, I'm in Peace, Oh Mamma, and Be Back Soon. I like Save Him as well...but I try not to listen to it because it made my cry when I first heard it. Every time it comes up on the playlist, I let the refrain play once and then quickly change it because my eyes start to water. If you're wondering whether you should buy the CD...do as I did, and you-tube him. His songs are all there for you to listen to. Then when you buy his CD, you'll know that you're getting yourself into some crazy good music.
