Merry Christmas with a country twang Dec 17, 2008 I downloaded this mp3 album to add to my iPod list of Christmas music. What I love about this album is that it's all the familiar music, but with a little different sound, since it's country. I love the one by Kellie Pickler who was one of the American Idol contestants a couple years ago. She sings Santa Baby. I especially liked Winter Wonderland by Brad Paisley. It sounds great with a country twang. About the only one I didn't care for was Merry Christmas From The Family. But all the rest in the mix were top notch.
The downloading is easy on both my Mac and PC. The downloader application that you get free from Amazon makes the whole thing work seamlessly and the music shows up automatically in iTunes. So far everything I've considered has been the same price or less than the iTunes store so I guess Amazon will be seeing a lot more of me!

Piss Poor Dec 12, 2008 This would simply be a subpar album full of decent covers by pop country artists with a tack on of a Johnny Cash classic. One problem with that. The worst cover in the history of covers! No I am not kidding. Montgomerry Gentry's cover of Robert Earl Keen's classic Merry Christmas from the Family is not only an abomination it is down right blasphemous. Most of these songs are done better by other people or the versions on this disc are on better discs. Pass!
Very nice album Nov 03, 2008 All songs are new and very good. It's a good variety on current artist. Kellie Pickler is outstanding!!
