A must buy Nov 17, 2009
This is a beautiful book, a great way to relay consequence and how to 'accumulate' good feelings during the day. I read this to my 5 year old all the time.

A great book for elementary students which provides them all kinds of examples on how to be a good citizen & that being a mean affects people in ways we don't realize. Lots of discussion & extension opportunities.
A very touching book Nov 09, 2009
After reading the reviews I bought this book to read to the children I work with. I work with at-risk children, and will implement these simple concepts within my lesson plans. I looked at the website [...] and was inspired by all the generous people out there. This book is colorful, easy to read, and inspiring for everyone. I love this book and I am 28 years old. It is uplifting and made me smile:P
A great book to teach children to be caring and kind Nov 04, 2009
The language of this book has become a part of our family's language, sometimes in a comical fashion. My daughter, at age 5, became angry at her dad and loudly declared him "a bucket dipper". Fortunately, we more often talk about filling buckets :) As a mom and a school counselor, I highly recommend.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this book. My son's preschool read it and is doing the concept. We are using it in our home too. I will give this book as a wedding present.
