Pretty Disappointing Sep 05, 2009 I thought I'd give this recording a go after recognizing a few titles and reading a few reviews.
For me, though, the CD has been a great disappointment. Lightweight, silly and trite, most songs seem juvenile lyrically and facile musically. Obviously he spoke/speaks to a large number of people, but I guess I'm just not one of them.

Fooled by Randomness Mar 07, 2009 Fooled by Randomness by Nassim Nicholas Taleb
After being impressed with Taleb's most recent book, The Black Swan, I decided to read his first book published two years earlier. So far, I am very pleased with Fooled by Randomness and like Tolstoy said he couldn't get enough of the man [Schopenhauer], I can't get enough of Nassim Taleb. Like Howard Cosell, this guy tells it like it is.

GREAT MOVIE MUSIC CD Jan 09, 2009 THIS CD IS A VERY NICE REMINDER OF THE MOVIES THAT IT MATCHES. RECOMMEND TO OTHER BUYERS.
Catchy tunes, grammatically (musically) correct Dec 31, 2008 As a Nillson's fan since the late 60's I totally love every single song in this album. I played the CD for the first time for the benefits of my classically trained husband who, to my surprise, loved Nilsson's compositions, the catchy melody of many of the songs, especially "The Puppy Song",and "I guess the Lord Must be In New York City, just to name two. He even recognized some of the songs in this CD from some shows on TV and movies. A big surprise to a rock-and-roll virgin to discover the beauty of Nilsson's music.
Harry Nillson in his short life was a totally under appreciated musician and singer and perhaps, now posthumously he would receive the kudos that he deserved.
Add this CD to your collection of Nilsson albums, please.
