 Losing My Marbles Sep 23, 2009
WOW! Never thought marbles in a blender could end up sounding like the voice of God!

Some people may think this CD sounds like "marbles in a blender". I on the other hand, heard nothing of the sort. What I heard was terrific, hard-core Fusion, played by three great musicians. Killer CD. Maybe that person was looking for something different in this CD, possibly Pop, or Top 40 type music. I don't know why you look for this in David Torn. If you like the hard-hitting guitar style of David Torn, you will like this CD, "GTR OBLQ".

Anyone who has heard Vernon Reid on Ronald Jackson's albums or Torn on some of his solo CD's would have expected a lot from this collaboration. They would be disappointed. These songs are virtually impossible to listen to. I would prefer to hear the sound of marbles in a blender. Melody anyone?
