Its good but not as good as I expected May 30, 2009 I liked the title track "Tell Me" and I like Amel Laurreuix, but this cd is kind of slow and drags to me. I expected more variety on this album. The songs kind of sound similar to me. It is boring. I am in no way saying this is a terrible cd, but it is not my favorite. Hopefully if I keep listening to it over and over it will grow on me.

Am I Listening To The Same Album? Jul 25, 2008 I thought that this album would have tell me and baby luv the exact two versions that I have heard before. However I was disappointed and bored when I listen to this album. The only good song was tell me but I found out that the version of baby luv was a remix and, the only other version I can find of this song is the summer groove mix which is probably the song I thought I was going to hear. Instead baby luv and all the other tracks sound like acoustic soul which is alright if that's all you want to hear. As for me I would rather give this away because, I think if the remixed version is being promoted into making us believe it's on this album then the artist or record company should at least put this track somewhere on this album and, not just release it on a single that is so rare that you're lucky to find it anywhere on this planet. In conclusion, if you like the song tell me I should tell you that this is the exact same song that is on other compilations so, if you want just this song look for a compilation with songs you'll want to hear again. Otherwise if there's any other reason you want this album then go ahead and buy it but, just don't expect anything other than acoustic soul or much of the same on this album.
90'a RnB reigns supreme! Jan 26, 2007 This is one of the MANY amazing RnB albums that came out during the 1990's that had that jazzy/hiphop flavah. "Tell Me" is a powerful timeless song that I still bump to this day. "Keep Trying" is incredibly uplifting!
The only thing I don't like is that "Baby Luv" version on the CD is NOT the soulful groovy club version that bumps harder. The CD version is like some kind of throwback version. I don't really care for that one. Other than that this CD is tight.
But download the grooovy 'Just a touch'-sampled "Baby Luv". ;-)
